President and Owner Esparza Receives High Awards for '08

Veronica Esparza, president and owner of the Old San Francisco Steak House is the recipient of two distinguished awards for 2008.

Firstly, she was awarded the 2008 President's Award from the National Association of Catering Executives San Antonio Chapter. The award is for outstanding accomplishments throughout 2008. The award recognizes accomplishments in both her catering endeavor, Absolutely Delicious Catering, and the recently acquired Old San Francisco Steakhouse.

She is also to be awarded the Corporate Award in the La Prensa Foundation's 13th annual salute to Outstanding Women in Action Awards Gala, which is to be held March 20, 2008 at the Omni Hotel in the Colonnade here in San Antonio.

As vice-president of the La Prensa Foundation, Inc., I am pleased to congratulate you on being chosen to receive this year's Corporate Award...", Tino Duran, Vice President of the La Prensa Foundation writes in his congratulatory letter to Mrs. Esparza.

Proceeds from the Salute to Outstanding Women in Action are used to provide scholarships for local students, colleges and universities.
